Week #6 Prize

Hey ladies! Hope your week is going well and that you are taking some time to take care of you!

Here is the prize for this week!

This really tall, bright and cheerful drink cup great for taking to gym filled with ice water!

These super cute strawberry car air fresheners - 3 in the pack!

And this AMAZING DVD, "How Great is our God" by Louie Giglio! This is hands down one of the most powerful videos about God I've ever seen!

WEEK #8

Fit:

Eat or drink nothing (except water) after 7pm for three nights this week.

Holy:

Listen to three (3) Fr. Mike Schmitz homilies this week.

You can download them for free off of itunes and they are awesome to listen to while working out. Or you can listen to them here at the UMD (University of Minnesota Deluth) Newman Center website where he is the Newman Chaplan. Fr. Mike is awesome!

To find them on itunes, search UMD Newman Fr. Mike Schmitz. Make sure that it says UMD Newman, because there are several different Fr. Mike's in our country that Podcast their homilies.

Cost to join the challenge $25

100% of the money collected will go to prizes.

Winners There will be a 1st & 2nd place overall prize winner at the end of the 8 weeks, based on total points earned. Prize money will depend on the number of ladies that sign up.

Weekly PrizesA weekly prize will be awarded to a drawing winner. The four highest point earners each week will be eligible for the drawing.

Challenge Begins July 14th

CHallenge Ends september 8th

Participants can join through July 21 after which there will also be no refunds.

Point system

FOOD LOG

Log everything you eat for 5 out of 7 days a week. 25 points, all or nothing.

Daily Exercise

Up to 7 points a day, 6x a week. 42 maximum Points per week. (30 min=3 pts., 45 min=5 pts., 60 min=7 pts.)

WATER

Drink at least 64 oz. of water a day. One point a day if accomplished. 1-7 points.

SLEEP

Sleep at least 7 hours a night. 1 point per night.

WEEKLY GROUP CHALLENGE - To be announced each sunday

25 points. 5 out of 7 days. All or nothing.

READ

Read a book for at least 20 minutes a day for 5 out of 7 days a week. 10 points. All or nothing.

CAREFREE TIMELESSNESS

Spend a minimum of 1 ½ hours of time with a loved one. Unplug* and be present. Plan a date night with your husband; schedule a pedicure with a good friend, do something special with your child, etc. 5 points for each scheduled 1 1/2 hours of intentional “unplugged” carefree timelessness planned. Up to 15 points per week.

* Unplugged means being as void as possible from any electronics/media in order to be fully present to your loved one(s).

PRAYER

Spend a minimum of 20 minutes in prayer each day. Go to daily mass, pray the rosary, go to adoration, read the scriptures, journal or write a letter to God, go for a prayer walk, do praise and worship, etc. 5 out of 7 days a week. 20 points, all or nothing.

Disclaimer: Time spent doing spiritual reading for prayer points cannot also be counted for reading points unless you do a minimum of 40 minutes a day.

WEEKLY WEIGH-IN

5 points. Weigh in every week and log it somewhere.

BLOG POSTS

5 points per post (up to three a week). Blog here about your successes, struggles, recipes, prayer reflections, meaningful moments of carefree timelessness with your loved ones, great workout ideas, etc. Let’s motivate, support and celebrate each other as we go!

POINTS AT THE END FOR PERCENTAGE OF LBS. LOST or Maintained

10 points rewarded for every percentage of lbs. lost 10 points rewarded weekly for maintained weight after you hit your goal.
