This eight week intense summer challenge is not for the faint of heart. This challenge is for Catholic women who want to get FIT this summer while growing in Holiness. Let’s face it, getting healthy and growing in holiness go hand-in-hand and it’s always more fun and motivating to do it with others. Not to mention that a little friendly competition never hurts either!

So ladies .....................are you up for the challenge?

I posted pics below of Lucas. Spent some more quality time with him last night and this morning.  His parents went on an overnight for the first time since their anniversary New Year's Eve, which was a horrible experience for them (they got food poisoning).  So my gift this week has been lots of quality time with Lucas. This time Grandpa got in on the fun too, playing in the swing, playing horsie, reading books and singing silly songs.  I think being a Grandma is the best thing in the world, and when you talk about becoming a better version of yourself, I think about the little child, sweet, innocent, trusting, fascinated by the whole world, energetic, creative, exploring, playing.  I think if this challenge were to do something great for me, the best thing I could hope for would be to become more child-like in my relationship with Jesus, to trust, spend time with Him, sing to him, read, learn and explore what He wants me to be.  I want to be like a child and soak up everything He has to teach me.

  1. No matter how long I'm gone each day, my dog is always soooo happy to see me when I get home! I always say that it is my goal to be as happy as my dog! Doesn't matter if she gets what she wants or something bad happens, she just has pure joy all the time.
I can't wait to be a grandma, but till then, I have my puppy to help teach me that same unconditional love that you must be experiencing.
